What is Pedikarma?

Pedikarma is a unique foot treatment ritual inspired by the Indian foot massage called Kansa Vatki. We begin a Pedikarma treatment with a balancing, aromatic, and therapeutic foot soak using Himalayan pink salt and Epsom salt. 

A Specialty Foot Massage Using the Kansa Bowl

While comfortably resting on the massage table, you’ll receive a rejuvenating marma point/reflexology massage using a combination of customized oil and ghee. We’ll follow this with a rare foot massage with a three-metal, or “Kansa,” bowl from India. 

Because this massage is delivered through the small, hand-held Kansa bowl, this foot massage activates foot reflexology points to bring ease and relaxation. Massage utilizing the Kansa bowl is said to draw heat, acidity, and negative energy away from the body. I’ll wrap up this session by applying a rose cleanser oil to your feet to remove excess oil and leave your feet feeling fresh and revitalized.
