What is Tibetan Head, Neck, and Scalp Reflexology?
Tibetan Head, Neck, and Shoulder Therapy traces and maps the muscular and skeletal system onto the top and back of the head. It works by directly stimulating cerebral spinal fluid flow that bathes the spinal nerves. Cerebrospinal fluid supplies nutrients to the tissue of your nervous system and removes waste products from the brain. By tapping into the power of the cerebrospinal fluid, we can stimulate your body’s natural healing mechanisms as they work on your brain and nervous system.
Tibetan Reflexology can regulate the physical, chemical, and biological balance maintaining stable mental and physical health. The Tibetans believe that the cerebral spinal liquid flows around the nervous system and spinal cord holds vital life energy.
Tibetan Reflexology speed mechanism restores physical and mental energy. It is a natural treatment, while treatment is performed directly on the neck and skull, relaxing all the muscle tension. It also affects the entire body, achieving a better balance in all its functions.
When Do I Use Tibetan Reflexology?
In my practice, I like to employ Tibetan therapy when my clients seek assistance with challenges or discomfort in their backs. Tibetan Head, Neck, and Scalp Reflexology are especially useful in addressing cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacral spine challenges.
The shoulders, neck, and scalp are important energy centers within the body. Tension, stress, and even pent-up anger can accumulate in the muscle tissue in these areas and in the face. These pressures can manifest in physical issues like stiff necks, eyestrain, etc.
What to Expect:
You’ll find this session to be soothing and noninvasive. I’ll welcome you into my treatment room, where you’ll relax on the massage table. You’ll remove your shirt for this session but will otherwise remain clothed. You’ll choose an aromatherapeutic oil that smells good to you and take a few moments to relax and breathe before we start. Throughout this session, we’ll use calming and gentle movements to release the build-up of muscular knotting in your head, neck, and scalp. As an added benefit, our reflexology work on your head and neck utilizes skin improvement and uplifting techniques that will leave you looking fresh.
I often suggest adding a Light and Sound Vibration Therapy session to your reflexology appointment in order to enhance the energetic benefits.
